For the 30th episode of the Arts in Aotearoa podcast we are joined by Wellington based musician Harris. While Harris has been releasing music for the past 7 years, he does not often do interviews. We sat down for a discussion about the impact of insomnia on his creative process, ambient music, Sparklehorse, poetry, and, ironically, why talking about music can be counter intuitive. Harris also plays live acoustic versions of his songs.
This is the Arts in Aotearoa podcast. In this weekly podcast series, we talk to people who are making, curating, organizing, or researching the arts in New Zealand. This podcast was recorded and aired at Wellington Access Radio. Hosted by Solomon Powell and Toby McWilliams. Thanks to NZ On Air for funding Access Media.
